In the course of school life, every class has the special privilege of presenting its history. Emer- son says: No one knows what that is which he can do nor does he know until he has triedf, When our class entered high school no one knew, what we could do, nor did we know until we had tried. We soon became well acquainted and liked our school life. Our Sophomore year started sadly but ended happily after we had succeeded in conquering our greatest enemies, Ancient History, Biology, Latin, Algebra, and English. Starting our Junior year we entered more in the social activities of our school life. We gave the play entitled Jumping lupiterfl For amateurs, who had never given a play before, each one played his part remarkably well. A Then came our Senior year. And this year we really gave out with some real enthusiasm for our school activities. The students who four years ago entered the school as timid freshmen are now en- ergetic leaders. Due to their enthusiasm various clubs such as the National Honor Society, Hi-Y, Tri- Hi-Y, and the B. Sheetz Science Club have become overwhelming successes. Many of our classmen have been outstanding in the various sports of our school and some have won scholarships to noted universities. Go Aheadl' was chosen as our annual senior class play and met with great success. We have now completed our High School career and we leave wishing the classes that follow the best of success. 30
