tftlTO 4t’S COMMCNTS Memories, pictures, and hard work are all included in the 1985 SAFARI. Many hours were spent taking pictures, cutting, gluing, regluing, typing, and retyping to produce an annual that will bring either a smile to one’s face or a tear to one’s eyes. I would like to thank Mrs. Heramb-Clark, our advisor, who always supported my ideas and helped with the perfecting of this mem- ory book. I would also like to thank the people who spent many hours filling the blank pages with pictures. It couldn’t have been done without you. As you start your journey through the 1985 SAFARI, take a special notice to the businesses and people who helped make this annual possible. I hope you enjoy this year’s edition of the SAFARI. IN LOVING MEMORY Lennie: October 2, 1935 - September 21, 1984 Pat: March 10, 1940 - September 21, 1984 Dirk: July 25, 1961 - September 21, 1984 The wind thru the trees. Whisperings of yesterdays that are past but not gone. For a part of them will remain in my mind as long as I am. And so even though you are not here beside me, you are here. inside me. I can recall your every sigh and laugh So . . .1 can not cry for you Instead I will think quietly of you and therefore not banish you with tears. But welcome you with memories. The Scribner family: Lennie, Pat and Dirk, will never be forgotten for all they have done for the community, the love they had for every- one, and the time spent by all of them to make things better and easier for others. They were wonderful people, friends, and parents, and their loss is of great sorrow to everyone. Try not to think of the loss but of the wonderful times that we all shared together.
