Experience is a hard teacher .... because sometimes she gives the test first and the lesson afterwards! The rest of your life will be filled with experiences---many fun and ex- citing, but many will also be very tough and challenging. It is hoped that you have obtained the necessary knowledge and skills that will assist you in dealing with lifes' experiences. I would admonish each of you to reach for worthwhile goals and to be a positive influence in todays world, hut at the same time, don't forget to take the opportunity to enjoy life and to smell the roses along the way. In closing, I hope that you will continue your life in such a manner that you will have the opportunity to leave your footprints in the sands of time so that someone will know that you were here. Good luck to each of you in the Class of '84. I hope that your high school experience has been such that you can look back with fond memories on all you have learned in four short years. Those of us who have graduated from high school often are envious of the position you are in now, for you do have unlimited opportu- nities ahead of you and can be anything you wish. Along with the freedom you gain upon gradu- ation, you also have the respon- sibility to be a productive member of society. You will face many decisions in the fu- ture and my wish for you is that the choices you make now will help you reach your ultimate goal in life. I have enjoyed working with all of you this year and wish each and every one of you the best that life can offer. 82 OUR TWELVE YEARS TOGETHER FRONT: Emily Goldhahn, Laurie Tadevick, Pam Qunell, Co- lette Joyce.
