New Coach And New Conference I never realized the basket was so high before. What was that that just went through here? The thirteen girls' basketball team members began the year with a new coach, Mr. Tom Kuntz. It was his first year teaching as well as coaching. The girls also competed in a new conference. They moved from district 11B to district 8C. The season was not as successful as some had hoped but a great deal of improvement was shown. The team members enjoyed working together as a team and hopes are high for the coming season. What do you call that stance, Tracy? That ref should have never turned his back. 23 And Shari winds up for the pitch.

In Junior Class Play On November 2nd and 3rd, the Junior Class presented to the Geraldine viewing public, The Remarkable Incident at Carson Corners. This play, a serious drama, effectively utilized the recently purchased Dimmer Board with its complex lighting system. This Dimmer Board was purchased through the generous donations of school and community organizations as well as those of individuals. With its purchase, more diverse and interesting plays may be presented by members of the G.H. S. Student Body. The Remarkable Incident at Carson Corners was well received by an appreciative audience. The accused murderer (played by Joey Patterson) looks helplessly on as he is accused of murder.
