HOMECOMING SPIRIT NOT DAMPENED BY WEATHER October 1st was Homecoming 1977 at Geraldine High School, and as it has so often happened, the weather was soggy. The annual snake dance and bonfire were cancelled due to conflicting girls' basketball games. The weather did not dampen the Tigers' spirit or their gallant effort against the Power Pirates. The Tigers were defeated, 46-0. The Homecoming Dance held by the Junior class was attended by students and towns-people alike on Saturday night. Queen Laura Goldhahn and King Brian Goldhahn were crowned by ASGHS President, Joey Patterson. The Junior Princess was Cecilia Qunell. Paula Anderson was chosen as Sophomore Princess and Debbie Clark was Freshman Princess. Queen Laura Goldhahn King Brian Goldhahn Even the clowns came prepared. This is the Geraldine High School Band, cleverly disguised as a pack of The Eighth Grade float was quite creative for a first try. The Freshman float appeared to be made up of a little bit of everything.
