STANDING: Ernie Jean, assistant coach; Kevin Smith, Chris Burtchett, Claude Bronec, J.R. Scribner, Scott Cornell, coach; Joe Little, John Little, Brian Goldhahn, Perry Joyce. Senior Players Add To Football Success Mike Qunell The Geraldine Tigers kicked off an eventful season by successfully holding their first three opponents scoreless. The Tigers ended the first two games before the official time was up by scores of 48-0 and 46-0 against Hays-Lodgepole and Kremlin-Gildford respectively. In their first conference game, the Tigers over-powered Dutton with a score of 28-0. The following two weekends the Tigers were unsuccessful in victory as they were defeated by Power 46-0, and Stanford 46-12. The Tigers pulled themselves together after these two defeats and ended their season victoriously with wins over Augusta 36-6, and a strong Centerville team 18-14.
