SENIOR PROPHECIES On May 22, 1987 the class of 1977 meets for their reunion in the Geraldine Park which is cleaned once a year by Gordon Sanders. The twenty-three graduates, friends, and, or family watch the others arriving. DEANNA MOLINE is the first to arrive. She drives up in her '62 Chevy pickup with all 40 of her grade school students from Fort Benton in the back. She loves teaching school and is still chasing Fort Benton men. JERRY PATTERSON and his tidy, little, particular wife drive up in their new Chevy car that gets 65 miles to the gallon and goes 85 through the quarter. His two small, fat children are trying to finish his dune buggy he started in high school and Jerry is supervising to make sure every detail is perfect. STUART MITTAL drives up in a new looking cougar which is still not painted. He gets out wearing dirty blue jeans and a dirty T-shirt. He is now running his own body and paint shop. He is married and has 3 boys who will keep the shop going. DEDE BRONEC fails to arrive because of a number of oppositions to bringing two bottles of pop for the punch. It seems that she is still having crushes on older men. LONETTE SANGSLAND drives up in her brand new 1987 Chevy Impala. She is now the owner of Ken Boggs Chevrolet in Geraldine. She is now married and has 5 lovely children. PAM SCRIBNER has just come back for a visit and is wearing a suit that is one of her own designs. She is single, like always, and is still looking for the right man. Presently, she is dating a guy who is her monkey wrench, for her car that is. No one is exactly sure where he came from. ZANA MAYO pulls up in her Ford van. She has taken over her father's farm and is now very successful. She is married and has 5 girls, all of which do most of the farm work. She spends most of her time watching her daughters work. JAY ATCHINSON arrives in town driving a beat up GMC pickup wearing a greasy Conoco cap. With him is his 14 year old wife Clara with their only son Howard C. Jay is a sports commentator for ALBUL Radio. His son is carrying a toy shotgun, but he isn't ready for trap shooting. Howie sports a black eye which he won in an argument over baseball. He's going to be just like his father. JEROME QUNEL L arrives in his Comet and is head mechanic at Jumpin' Jerry's garage. He is a hood in a gang in which he is called Comet Kid . He has a collection of eye glasses with tape around them, and a collec- tion of purple Buddy Williams sneakers. He now is married and his wife is 6'2 . DAWN ROSENBERG drives up in her green Ford maverick, a present from one of her numerous flames. Dawn is still unmarried. She has a college degree and is teaching courtship and marriage at Harvard University. She has announced that she may marry Delbert Delaney of Dutton but it's doubtful. DAN ROWLAND is still a bachelor and a farmer east of Geraldine. He lives where his father used to. He pulls up in a red and white Chevy 4-wheel drive with his girl friend and five kids. BARB ROWE flies in from New York on a private jet. She is a concert pianist, playing at the Metropolitan Opera House. You may have seen her hands on National T.V. for a Palmolive dishwashing liquid advertisement. RENE BUCK, now editor of the Fort Benton River Squeeze, arrives with mud on her shoes and straw in her hair. She was just covering a front page story out at Herman's Hog Pond where there was a disturbance over Herman's hogs getting into the Albert's hybrid strawberry patch. She is now married, with 6 children and has finally bobbed her hair. CASEY JOYCE drives up in the same station wagon he used almost every year to go to the Prom. He's taken over the family gas station. He lives alone in a 16 bedroom house, so we know he's got something in mind. LINDA HARVEY drives up in her International pick-up which was pulling her mobile art gallery, from which she has made millions. One whole wing of the Smithsonian Institute is filled with her work. SHERYLE ARNST walked in beside her husband, Greg. Being the typical proud father, he brought out the pic- tures of their four children the minute they got here. They live in a beautifully decorated house on a farm between Fort Benton and Geraldine. RICHARD STEIN BA CHER, alias Dick , arrives straight from the tractor in his ragged farm clothes. Accom- panying him is his mail order bride and 11 kids. He can not stay long because he has taken over his father's bus route and is taking the Speech and Drama kids to Frenchtown tomorrow. HELEN DOSTAL still unattached arrives. She now works for the state of Montana as a Parole Officer for juven- iles. She has had much experience with juvenile delinquency because she went through three years of Geraldine High School observing the actions of the Class of '78. TAMMY OWEN also known as Ms. Tammy Owen arrives in full stage make-up from a tour with the Los Angeles Drama Company. Enroute to Minot, North Dakota, she must leave after signing autographs for her next adventure. She will star in the leading role in the filming of the LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, PART II. MS. CHER YL MITTA L, head photographer for MS. magazine, arrives from Los Angeles carrying her boyfriend and burnt brassiere tropy. She is giving Gloria Steinem a good run for Libber of the Year award. MRS. TINA HEAL and her husband, Rick, arrive in Geraldine from Salt Lake City with their ten lovely chil- dren. Her husband now holds the position of Lineman for the County . Tina says that she is experiencing problems with her oldest daughter, whose boyfriend keeps flying down to see her every weekend. PAT BRONEC arrives after competing in the National Tractor Pull Finals in Fargo, North Dakota. Pat isn't his same old 'happy-go-lucky' self. Evidently he discovered, after breaking both arms, that the tractor is to pull the weight, he is not to pull the tractor. He is still unsure of his college major. Keep up the good work Pat. SHARON CLARK married one of her high school sweethearts and is now living in Fort Benton. She designs covers for DOODLE Notebooks. 11
