Walker for his faithful devotion to duty in a rewarding and often difficult job. 4 Grant Anderson Editor, 1974 Safari At the End of Today Lies Tomorrow, and Eternity Lies Just Beyond There has never been a separate editor's page in any yearbook Geraldine has put out as far back as I can find. Looking through other school's yearbooks, I find the editor's page quite common and feel that it would be a good tradition for Geraldine to carry on as the job of editor requires much responsibility with relatively little recogni- tion. The first and foremost person I want to thank is Miss Susan Holzheimer. Without her knowledge, patience, and time, none of this would have been possible. I owe her a great personal debt for the help she gave me. Secondly, I want to thank everyone else involved with putting this yearbook together. Namely, my editorial staff and everyone else who took the time to work, those businesses who were concerned enough to advertise, and our other sponsors who stayed after school to supervise us. Again, my deep personal thanks. The 73-74 football season was of the most productive seasons in the history of Geraldine High School. The Tigers had a 7-1 record and were district co-champions. Their only loss was a heartbreaker to Augusta which cost the Tigers a shot at the divisional title. It was an off day for the Tigers who were a much better team than the score indicated. A fitting climax to the season was the selection of eight of the Tigers to the All-Conference teams. Coach Harvey was responsible for transforming this talent into a fine team with the aid of Coach Silvius who did an outstanding job of molding the offensive and defensive lines into distinct units. Congratulations Tigers! on an outstanding season.
