CLASS HISTORY 1959- 1960 On a sunny day in September 1959, twenty-three eager-beaver freshmen trod through the doors of Geraldine High School. Later in this same month, we were initiated by the sophomores. In October we gave our freshman return party. Our class officers for the year were: PRESIDENT - Don Dammel VICE PRESIDENT - Leland Johnson SECRETARY-TREASURER - Kay Farmer STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE - Richard Protsman ADVISOR - Mr. Irons Charlene Goldhahn was elected as a cheerleader from our class. Kay Farmer was our Orange and Black Day queen candidate. Betty Carlson and Don Dammel were prom princess and prince. 1960- 1961 This year saw an increase of four students, to raise our classes enrollment to twenty-seven. The main event of this year was our initiation of the freshmen. Our class officers for this year were: PRESIDENT - Barbara Hardenbrook VICE PRESIDENT - John Smith SECRETARY - Robert Miller TREASURER = Norma Hankins STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE - Kay Farmer ADVISOR - Mrs. Lang Charlene Goldhahn and Mary Strate were elected cheerleaders from our class Peggy Ries was our queen candidate for Orange and Black Day. Charlene Goldhahn was our prom princess. 1961- 1962 Our class decreased in number from twenty-seven to twenty-four. During this year we produced the Junior Play, Hit the Road. We put on the Junior Prom English Country Graden's , and the Junior mothers put on our Junior-Senior Banquet. The class officers for this year were: PRESIDENT - Forest Goodhart VICE PRESIDENT - Charlene Goldhahn SECRETARY - Peggy Ries TREASURER - Frank Dostal STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE - Don Dammel ADVISOR - Mr. Dorrance Mary Strate, Barbara Hardenbrook, and Charlene Goldhahn were elected as cheerleaders from our class. 8

Sharon Caufield was crowned Orange and Black Day queen. Dolores Spevacek and Richard Protsman were prom princess and prince. Leslie Stone was the delegate to Boys' State and Charlene Goldhahn and Bonnie Davison were the Girls' State Delegates. Roger Little was also a Boys' State delegate. 1962-1963 This, our final year as students of Geraldine High School, began with a class of twenty-four. The big project for this year was, of course, the annual. We also put on an Alumni-Tea, a Semi- Formal Dance, and our class play, Good Night Ladies. Our class officers for the year were: PRESIDENT - Roger Little VICE PRESIDENT - Kay Farmer SECRETARY - Charlene Goldhahn TREASURER - Dolores Spevacek STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE - Betty Carlson ADVISOR - Mr. Smith Charlene Goldhahn was elected as a cheerleader. Norma Hankins and Richard Protsman were Orange and Black Day queen and king. The prom prince and princess were Frank Dostal and Peggy Ries. Charlene Goldhahn and Dennis Boggs were the prom queen and king. Betty Carlson, Mary Strate, Don Dammel, Don Thomas, and Leslie Stone have gone to school all twelve years at Geraldine. Beginning of our senior trip- The Governor and US!
