CLASS HISTORY In 1958 sixteen green freshmen entered the doors of Geraldine High School. We elected our class officers and sponsor for that year. President: Leah Schwandt, Vice President: Ron Russell, Secretary-Treasurer: Nancy Nichols, Student Council Repre- sentative: Judy Rudin and our sponsor was Mr. Irons. Trilby Miller and Leah Schwandt were cheerleaders that year. Our activities consisted of painting the G, giving a Freshman Return Party, and making a float for Orange and Black Day. During March of 1959 we gained another member, Carol Breuer, who transferred from Sunburst. Our sophomore year we were more experienced in our quest for education when we entered the door of G.H.S. again. This year three former members were gone. We elected our officers who were President: Judy Rudin, Vice President: Leah Schwandt, Secretary-Treasurer: Leonard Johnson, Student Council Representative: Floyd Danbrook, and our sponsor was Mr. Leach. Activities for the year were initiating the freshmen and making a float for the Homecoming Parade. Lois Corley started twirling and Leah Schwandt became a cheerleader. Kelly Walker and Floyd Danbrook were the Junior Prom Princess and Prince. The junior year of the Class of ‘62 was a busy one. We lost three members and also gained three. We elected our officers for the year. They were President: Trilby Miller, Vice President; Nancy Nichols, Secretary-Treasurer: Kathy Hicks, Student Council Representative: Carol Breuer, and our sponsor was Mr. Lang. We put on the Orange and Black Day Dance, a play entitled Bull In A China Shop, ” the prom Around the World, and the Junior-Senior Banquet. Carol Breuer was elected as the Orange and Black Day Queen. In our last year of the journey to graduation, twelve seniors marched through the doors of G.H.S. We elected our officers for the year knowing we had a full year be- fore us. President: Nancy Nichols, Student Council Representative: Floyd Danbrook, and our sponsor was Mr. Harlow. The activities were many with the class play, Aunt Susie Shoots the Works, the Alumni Tea, the annual. Class Night, Baccalaureate, and Graduation. Kathy Hicks and Floyd Danbrook were Prom King and Queen, and Carol Breuer was queen candidate.

I, Lin wood King, will my bookkeeping ability to Lennie Stone. I, Kelly Walker, will my dancing ability to Leslie Stone. I, Nancy Tadej, will my trips downtown after the mail to Kay Farmer. I, Judy Rudin, will my music ability to John Smith. I, N-ancy Nichols, will my love for riding the bus to Sharon Caufield. I, Alida Little, will my height to Anita Owen and my math ability to anyone who wants it. I, Lois Corley, will my ability to keep a cool head to Diane Boggs and my good luck with hard luck trophys to Pay Hayworth. I, Carol Breuer, will my ability to fall up the stairs gracefully to Sue Byrd. I, Kathy Hicks, will my pony-tail and French-roll hairdos to Carley Nelson. Hope you have better luck with them than I did. I, Dorothy Spevacek, will my knitting ability to Ruth Graham. To the junior class we will our ability to make money and to get along with each other. To the sophomore class we will our study habits and quiet ways. To the freshmen we will our good times we had in high school.
