CLASS WILL The Seniors of 1961 do bequeath and bequest the following: Dean Martinez wills his ability to go on fishing trips and catch fish to Don Da mm el. To Kay Farmer, Nancy Knedler wills her bookkeeping ability and hopes Kay can improve it. Ken Smith wills his ability to lose weight to any of the girls who want it. Faye Klay wills her shortness to Tom Fields so he can see eye to eye with the rest of the boys. To Nancy Nichols, Rita Graham wills her coffee pot. Keep it perkin’, Nancy. Larry Anderson wills his curly hair to Linwood King and his way with girls to Duke Nichols. To Chuck Webster, Ray Wishman wills his cigars and happy, carefree ways. Bill Breuer wills his ability to sleep in class to anyone who needs it. To Duke Nichols, Karl Apple wills his many nicknames and his car. Donna Bishop wills her ability to get along with English teachers to Carol Anderson. Les Sullivan wills his ability to get suspended from school for three days to Chuck Webster. John Bishop wills his ability to get out of study hall to Norma Hankins and his school books to anyone who can use them. To the band we leave Nancy’s trumpet, Dean’s clarinet, Leslie's saxophone and Rita and Karl’s drums. To our fellow students, friends and teachers we leave mem- ories of how to always serve as good examples.

CLASS HISTORY On September 3, 1957, thirteen green Freshmen stepped through the doors of Geraldine High School. The Sophomores initiated us on September 15 and we gave them a return party on October 5. FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS President ------------------------------ John Bishop Jr. Vice President -------------------------Rita Hayworth Secretary-Treasurer----------------------Nancy Knedler Student Council Representative-------------Karl Apple Sponsor-------------------------------------Mr. Irons Fifteen Ambitious Sophomores entered G.H. S. on September 2, 1958. Bill Breuer, Larry Anderson and Bobby Worrall joined our class and increased our number. We promptly initiated the Freshmen two weeks after school began and were given a return party the following week. Bobby Worrall left us in the middle of the year. Our main projects for the year were: the class play, NUTS AND BOLTS, the Orange and Black Day Dance, the Junior-Senior Banquet and the Prom, BLUE HAWAII. Our activities in- cluded the plays, WILBUR TAKES HIS MEDICINE and FEUDIN' MOUNTAIN BOYS, the annual Junior-Senior Banquet, the Alumni Tea and the Prom. Nancy Knedler was elected cheerleader. The Class left on the Senior Trip May 18 and returned May 21. Baccalaureate was held May 21 in the new auditorium and Graduation Exercises were May 22 in the gymnasium. CLASS PROPHECY The Class of 1961 met In 1981 for their reunion at Karl Apple’s mansion north of Geraldine. We all had a very enjoyable time swimming in Karl's pool and renewing old memories of our school days in good old G.H.S. It was also very interesting to find out what everyone is doing now. Karl is still chasing girls, but not in the same way that he did before, he and his wife have six of their own so they keep Karl pretty busy. Rita Graham came to the reunion all the way from South Africa where she boasts of being the only English Teacher in her area. She says that the heat bothers her quite a bit but she has the head hunters buffaloed.” Rita plans to go to Alaska and teach the Eskimoes next. Ray Wishman drove in from his farm east of Geraldine in his jeep. Ray holds down two jobs these days, during the summer months he is a farmer and during the winter he is head smoker in a cigar factory, he tests the cigars for the right flavor. As you might well guess, Ray enjoys his work very much. Bill Breuer came to the reunion in one of his seven Cadillacs. He now owns the largest cattle ranch in the Northwest. Bill makes his home in the Missouri River Breaks where he can both water ski and keep up on his bronc riding. Larry Anderson now owns a string of dude ranches throughout the Western states. Larry is quite rich so he rodeos only when he wants a bit of excitement, which is usually everytime there is a rodeo. Nancy Knedler was allowed only two days off from her job as head bookkeeper for the General Motors Company, they didn’t want her to get too far behind. Nancy has perfected her own method of making bookkeeping easy. Dean Martinez, with his Fabulous Five, had just successfully defended their conference title. Dean has been elected Coach of the Year for the past three years. Faye Klay is playing a dual role of being a wife and mother and running the biggest IBM machine the government has to date. Faye enjoys her work, she says it is very relaxing after home life with her four boys. Ken Smith was unable to be with us as his tour of duty with the United States Navy had called him to an outer space planet for two months.
