CLASS HISTORY On September 3, 1957, thirteen green Freshmen stepped through the doors of Geraldine High School. The Sophomores initiated us on September 15 and we gave them a return party on October 5. FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS President ------------------------------ John Bishop Jr. Vice President -------------------------Rita Hayworth Secretary-Treasurer----------------------Nancy Knedler Student Council Representative-------------Karl Apple Sponsor-------------------------------------Mr. Irons Fifteen Ambitious Sophomores entered G.H. S. on September 2, 1958. Bill Breuer, Larry Anderson and Bobby Worrall joined our class and increased our number. We promptly initiated the Freshmen two weeks after school began and were given a return party the following week. SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS President---------------------------------------------Dean Martinez Vice President---------------------------------Karl Apple Secretary-Treasurer-----------------------John Bishop Jr. Student Council Representative------------ Larry Anderson Sponsor------------------------------------------------Mr. Gravage In August, 1959, fifteen Juniors entered G.H.S. Bobby Worrall left us in the middle of the year. Our main projects for the year were: the class play, NUTS AND BOLTS, the Orange and Black Day Dance, the Junior-Senior Banquet and the Prom, BLUE HAWAII. JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS President--------------------------------------Bill Breuer Vice President-----------------------------------------Rita Graham Secretary-Treasurer----------------------------Donna Bishop Student Council Representative--------------Dean Martinez Sponsor-------------------------------------------------Mr. Gravage Twelve Seniors began their final year in August, 1960. Our activities in- cluded the plays, WILBUR TAKES HIS MEDICINE and FEUDIN' MOUNTAIN BOYS, the annual Junior-Senior Banquet, the Alumni Tea and the Prom. Nancy Knedler was elected cheerleader. The Class left on the Senior Trip May 18 and returned May 21. Baccalaureate was held May 21 in the new auditorium and Graduation Exercises were May 22 in the gymnasium.
