CLASS PROPHECY Twenty-five years ago the Senior Class of 1960 graduated from the halls of Geral- dine High School. Being nice, charming and ambitious young men and women, they each went their separate ways to donate their knowledge and genius to the world. Now, in 1985, they are gathered for a class reunion back in the halls of good old G. H. S. , which is now a three story high school. The ex-students had a time meeting for a reunion due to the matter of managing their various enterprises. The first to arrive was General Eugene Strate in his new Supersonic 99-X2 Jetstream jet. Eugene, who is commanding officer of the Air Force Rocket Testing Station in Antarctica flew in with just a little ice on his wings. Mrs. James Van Campbell, better known to us as Bonnie Paulsrud arrived with her husband in their convertible. They are the owners of a noodle-soup factory. Bonnie was unable to sign the reunion book because of a bandaged right hand. She had the misfortune to cut herself while cutting noodles. Mr. Richard Miller took time off from teaching to attend the reunion. Dick is the coach of the Worlds Fightenest Volleyball Team.” He presently coaches at the Eston College for Young Women. He thinks he can win the title again this year because his team has been in constant training. Mrs. Barbara Williamson flew in from Los Angeles. Our own Barbara Atchison is known as Aunt Babs in the United States. She is a famous reporter and writes a column for big newspapers of the country. Her column is Ask Aunt Babs, she gives advice to the lovelorn. Mr. Kenneth Vegoren drove into town in his safari jeep. Ken is known as the Great White Hunter in Africa, India and all countries where dangerous animals can be hunted. Ken pulled a trailer behind his jeep containing his native boys and his many trophies which included many shrunken and mounted heads. Flying in from southern California was Professor Howard Pirch. He is currently work- ing on his new project. Howard is chief scientist at the Delicious Oyster Experimental Farm. He is working on a pure-bred Texas, hen-type oyster that he hopes will weigh five pounds and lay pearls. Dr. Jo Clark drove in with her panel truck. She is a traveling psychiatrist and she keeps her office in the back of her truck. Jo and her assistant have traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. She now has 998,624 miles on her truck and she plans to retire when she reaches the 1,000,000 mark. It was no trick at all for Mr. Herb Hayworth to attend the reunion. Herb ranches north, east and west of Geraldine. He arrived riding his famous saddle buffalo. Herb raises buffalo for the movies and the Indians. The glamorous Miss Nini von Ritz, alias Ellen Schwandt, arrived with limousine, her chauffeur, and her seven Siamese cats. Ellen has starred in several movies and is currently filming Oceans Revenge at the Seaside Swimming Pool in Hollywood. Dr. Charles Protsman returned from his hospital in Yellowstone Park. He is head physician at the hospital. Chuck treats animals for the stomach-ache but he tells us he isn’t too busy because people have been following park rules this year. Mrs. Harry Fultz, we knew her as Beryl Atchison, took leave of her home to be present. Everyone was sorry her husband couldn't be with her but Mr. Fultz stayed home to baby-sit with the quadruplets and the pet alligator.

Professor Earl Smith arrived on a wild gust of wind in his new Sail car. Since Earl’s invention of a car with a sail on it he hasn’t bought a drop of gas. He is rich enough to buy gas now and claims he will have to do so now because everybody and their Sail- Cars are using up the wind. Mr. Kenneth Boggs drove his team and buggy into town like a true westerner. Ken is the owner of the famous Boggs Nags Pony Farm. His ponies have made him very rich, but he refuses to buy a car because he’s afraid he will hurt their feelings. Mrs. Ivan Smedly drove her 1960 Ford into town with a bang. Mrs. Ivan Smedly, known better as Jane Graham is now residing in New York City. Jane’s present job is filling snoose and tobacco cans in the Ace Factory. She is the mother of four teen-age boys who were unable to be with us because they would be unable to report to their parole officers everyday. Last to arrive was Mr. Ken Spevac and family. They live on an island off northern Alaska, they raise seals and New Northern Penguins. Ken apologized for being late and explained that the runners on his sled wore off on the gravel roads. The dogs rested while the repairs were being sent down to Ken from his store-house at his home. Everyone was sorry their high school sponsor was unable to be present. Mr. Eastlick was drag-racing with his grandson and suffered an accident. Mr. Eastlick wasn't hurt but his wheel chair was completely demolished.
