THIRD ROW: Richard Reeves, Erica Anderson, Carolyn Owen, Michael Nolf, Carley Bronson, Janet King, Marilyn Stone, and Brad Bucher. CLASS HISTORY When school opened September 2, 1958, the second grade had twenty-four members with their teacher, Mrs. Florence LeFevre. Jim- my Goodwin and Dan Harvey moved leaving only 22. They entered a float on Orange and Black Day. The theme: Alaska, now Hawaii next. They also took part in a Christmas play, December 22, 1958. Mrs. Mary Vegoren was chosen their room mother and Mrs. Clara Reeves, her assistant.

SECOND ROW: Mrs. Mitzner, Harold Clark, Evelyn Wethern, Mary Goldhahn, Charlene Fairbanks, Lanny Murphy, Rita Atchison, Bob Goldhahn. THIRD ROW: Linda Williams, Douglas Bronson, Donnie Owen, Curtis Sullivan, Mike Buck, Allen Anderson, Lillian Carlson. Not pictured: Betty Little, Laura Clark. CLASS HISTORY Our grade began school in the new classroom with 24 pupils and our teacher, Mrs. Helen Mitzner. We chose as our room mother, Mrs. Joanne Williams. We took part in the Orange and Black Day parade, the Christmas program and the Achievement Day at Fort Benton; also, the highlight of the year, the school picnic. Our room was decorated for the appropriate months. We made several school and art projects to correspond with our textbook. At Christmas we exchanged names and had a party. On Valentine's Day we had a contest to see who could make the prettiest box, then had a big Valentine Party. We feel we had a very happy and successful year.

CLASS HISTORY The first grade started school in September with Mrs. Clara Fields as teacher. The class started out with 30 members. Sharon Davis moved to Washington leaving 29 members. Mrs. Wally Brewer is the room mother. The first graders had a circus unit for Orange and Black Day. The float was called Field's Circus. We had many animals. The girls were beautiful ballet dancers. The float was decorated in Boggs' Garage with Mrs. Brewer, Mrs. Bucker, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Les Thompson, and Mrs. Fields assisting. The Christmas program showed that there were many talented students in the first grade. Mrs. Dan Bucker was our piano player. The Christmas party was held with Mrs. Ludeman, Mrs. Tarbet, and Mrs. Brewer assisting. The Brewers gave us a nice tree for our room. Gifts were exchanged, a movie was shown, and a lunch of Kool-Aid and cookies was served.
