CLASS HISTORY Our grade began school in the new classroom with 24 pupils and our teacher, Mrs. Helen Mitzner. We chose as our room mother, Mrs. Joanne Williams. We took part in the Orange and Black Day parade, the Christmas program and the Achievement Day at Fort Benton; also, the highlight of the year, the school picnic. Our room was decorated for the appropriate months. We made several school and art projects to correspond with our textbook. At Christmas we exchanged names and had a party. On Valentine's Day we had a contest to see who could make the prettiest box, then had a big Valentine Party. We feel we had a very happy and successful year.

CLASS HISTORY The highlight of the fall for us was Orange and Black Day, for which most of us were gaily dressed and our trucks were pretty, too. For Christmas, we made many room decorations, had a Christmas party, and exchanged gifts. Our spring work was to concentrate on science, as we used health to build our fair projects, and completed it before Christmas.

CLASS HISTORY When school opened September 2, 1958, the second grade had twenty-four members with their teacher, Mrs. Florence LeFevre. Jim- my Goodwin and Dan Harvey moved leaving only 22. They entered a float on Orange and Black Day. The theme: Alaska, now Hawaii next. They also took part in a Christmas play, December 22, 1958. Mrs. Mary Vegoren was chosen their room mother and Mrs. Clara Reeves, her assistant.
