DWELLO Senior Class History Eleven green Freshmen entered the doors of Geraldine High School September 6, 1955. September 21, we were initiated with our party being held September 23. We gave our return party October 22. On September 7, 1956, eleven ambitious Sophomores entered the doors of G.H.S. to try their second year in high school. The Freshman initiation was the week of Septem- ber 14-19, and the Initiation Party was held the night of September 19. The return party was given October 19, 1958. MUSS During the year we saw a decrease of two classmates, Selma Hayworth and John Reid, bringing our class total to nine members. September 3, 1957, ten lively Juniors entered G.H.S. with Jim Applegate joining our class and leaving us the first semester. During the year our activities consisted of sponsoring the Orange and Black Day dance, our class play, The Midnight Visitor, ” our prom, Evening In Paris” and the Junior-Senior Banquet. The An- nual Junior-Senior Banquet was held in the cafeteria on April 29. We left on our Senior trip May 7 and returned May 10. Baccalaureate was May 24 and Graduation exercises were held on May 25. CLASS HISTORY We had 27 girls and boys enrolled in our class this year. The room was decorated appropriately for all of the holidays. We really went all out for Christmas, though. The tree and room dec- orations were very pretty. During the spring of the year we had a field trip, which was enjoyed by all. We also made health booklets, science booklets, social studies book- lets, and English booklets for the fair and regular school work. CLASS HISTORY The highlight of the fall for us was Orange and Black Day, for which most of us were gaily dressed and our trucks were pretty, too. For Christmas, we made many room decorations, had a Christmas party, and exchanged gifts. Our spring work was to concentrate on science, as we used health to build our fair projects, and completed it before Christmas. CLASS HISTORY Our grade began school in the new classroom with 24 pupils and our teacher, Mrs. Helen Mitzner. We chose as our room mother, Mrs. Joanne Williams. We took part in the Orange and Black Day parade, the Christmas program and the Achievement Day at Fort Benton; also, the highlight of the year, the school picnic. Our room was decorated for the appropriate months. We made several school and art projects to correspond with our textbook. At Christmas we exchanged names and had a party. On Valentine's Day we had a contest to see who could make the prettiest box, then had a big Valentine Party. We feel we had a very happy and successful year. CLASS HISTORY When school opened September 2, 1958, the second grade had twenty-four members with their teacher, Mrs. Florence LeFevre. Jim- my Goodwin and Dan Harvey moved leaving only 22. They entered a float on Orange and Black Day. The theme: Alaska, now Hawaii next. They also took part in a Christmas play, December 22, 1958. Mrs. Mary Vegoren was chosen their room mother and Mrs. Clara Reeves, her assistant. CLASS HISTORY The first grade started school in September with Mrs. Clara Fields as teacher. The class started out with 30 members. Sharon Davis moved to Washington leaving 29 members. Mrs. Wally Brewer is the room mother. The first graders had a circus unit for Orange and Black Day. The float was called Field's Circus. We had many animals. The girls were beautiful ballet dancers. The float was decorated in Boggs' Garage with Mrs. Brewer, Mrs. Bucker, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Les Thompson, and Mrs. Fields assisting. The Christmas program showed that there were many talented students in the first grade. Mrs. Dan Bucker was our piano player. The Christmas party was held with Mrs. Ludeman, Mrs. Tarbet, and Mrs. Brewer assisting. The Brewers gave us a nice tree for our room. Gifts were exchanged, a movie was shown, and a lunch of Kool-Aid and cookies was served. organizations F.H.A.
