Published by Class of 1958 GERALDINE HIGH SCHOOL Geraldine, Montana Volume XIII The Gardener picked His loveliest rose Ifs almost perfect, He said. I've watched it grow from a frail pink bud To this delicate shade of red. ’’Now aren’t you sad, little rose?” I asked. He plucked you and didn't care Because you were fairest He took you away Afraid you would wither there. I'm glad I’m His, the rose replied, ’’I'm so happy to please Him so. I’d like to bring Him joy awhile Before I lose my glow. The Gardener gently crushed the rose As it blushed in youthful bloom Accepting all of her generous gifts In lingering perfume. ( at tenute Sc££e K H i Died - October 16, 1957 'p teeowict One of the outstanding undertakings of our senior year has been to produce a book of memories, a collection of events, activ- ities, and accomplishments; a book of honor and satisfaction. This year, a hard working staff has tried to compile all the happenings of our senior year that was filled with cooperation and a winning spirit, a year that should recall all our high school career for many years to follow. May the SAFARI” always serve to remind you of your happy high school days, and always signify a job as one of honest effort and stability. s4cl HC U4t'iatt6 t Principal D. G. DWELLO B. DWELLO School opened September 3, 1957, with ten studious Seniors beginning their final year at Geraldine High School. Early in the year we were bereaved with the loss of our beloved classmate, Kay Schlemmer. The class of 1958 was kept very busy throughout the year. Much time and effort were expended working on our annual, giving our class play and all the other numerous extracurricular activities that arose during the final and most wonderful year of our high school career. The Junior Class honored us with the Prom the 26th of April. We left on our Senior trip the 7th of May, and returned very tired, but happy on May 10. The Annual Junior-Senior Banquet was held in the cafeteria on May 14. Baccalaureate was May 18 and Graduation exercises were on May 26. Duane Boggs, newlywed school teacher, teaching on the moon, flew in with her husband. They were enjoying their Honeyearth and we didn't see much of her at the reunion. Don Anderson, top space expert in the solar system, arrived in one of his space ships. He has been doing considerable research work on raising the living standard of the citizens of Neptune. Pat Clark, took time out from her duties as owner of a New York hairdresser's salon, to attend the class reunion. She let the ladies in on a few of the latest hair tips from Paris. Recently, she attracted nation-wide attention with her modified version of the up-sweep, known as the Clark Twister. Dorothy Paulsrud, Miss Solar System of 1977, came to the reunion aboard her special quin-rocket convertible. She is famous for the Paulsrud Reducer, a machine which kicks, bites, scratches, pushes, rolls and really takes your weight down. Ken Engellant, known nationally as the perfect bachelor has long since retired on his fabulous earnings from his real estate hold- ings on Pluto. He came from the Hawaiian Islands in his private space ship. Connie Robison, owner of the Robison Western Clothes Compa- ny and her husband, a champion rodeo performer, rode in on their Robisonion mares from Real West, Texas. Edgar Lallum, internationally celebrated crooner known as the Big E” around the world, flew in from Hollywood after completing his latest movie. He said he cleared 5 million last year from his smash records and movies. Judy Russell, a school teacher and housewife, arrived with her fifth husband. She reports that her career is fun, but she prefers married life. Jerry Ludeman, arrived late as he was on a government space mission subduing a revolt in Venus. His Graceville proving grounds have been a great asset to government experiments.
