Class Prophecy On October 14, 1976, the Class of 56 had a reunion at Roy Hayes restau- rant on Main Street of Geraldine, Montana. Wendy Nelson, the coach of Notre Dame, was not able to attend because he slept on the train and missed the stop. He won't be here till tomorrow because they shipped him to Butte. Chuck Tonne, who is now mining Uranium up at Neihart, arrived with his new car. Chuck tells us that there isn't much money in mining. He only has 5 children. Bill Sullivan, who is the head of the King ranch in Texas, flew in his new jet to be at our reunion. He tells us that he has 150 men working for him. Roger Van Voast, the millionaire of Geraldine, attended the reunion and bought all the meals, and put us up in his mansion. Shirley Rucker, known as the Tennessee Hillbilly, came from Nashville, Tennessee to furnish the music. John Martinez, who is now a Admiral in the U. S. Navy, broughthis wife and kids from San Diego, California. We all had a lot of fun and I hope we can have another reunion in the year 2000 A. D. Senior Class History School opened on September 2, 1952, to find six green Freshmen entering the halls of Geraldine High School, to try their first year. The second week of school the class elected the following officers: President-Dale Moline Vice Pres.-Roger Van Voast Sec. Treas .-Shirley Rucker Student Council-Chuck Tonne Sponsor-Mrs. Graf Initiation was held the second week of school. This found us wearing silly clothes and painted with shoe polish and lipstick. We now considered ourselves full fledged members of G.H.S. We gave a return party on November 16. Our biggest event was the Freshman Hodgepodge which was held in the spring and was a big success. In Mav we white-washed the G. We opened our Sophomore year on September 14, 1953, with seven mem- bers. John Martinez had transferred from Great Falls. At our first class meeting we chose class officers. They were: President-John Martinez Vice Pres.-Roger Van Voast Secretary-Shirley Rucker Treasurer-Dale Moline Student Council-Chuck Tonne and Bill Sullivan Sponsor-Mr. Morrow What we considered our biggest event was the initiation of the Freshmen. During the year Jim Nelson dropped out and Wendy Nelson joined us from Dut- ton and Cleo Hansen from Great Falls. On September 13, 1954, seven ambitious Juniors entered the halls of G.H. S. Cleo Hansen had dropped out. Officers for the year were: President-Chuck Tonne Vice Pres.-Wendell Nelson Sec .-Treas .-Shirley Rucker Student Council-Roger Van Voast Sponsor-Mr. Gutsch During the year , with the help of the Seniors, we presented two plays. They were Along Came Charlie , on November 19, and The Terror , on March 25. They were both huge successes. On April 29, the Junior Prom was held. It was decorated in the theme of Some Enchanted Evening . We entertained the Seniors with a delicious banquet, cooked by our mothers, on May 11. The room was decorated with the Senior class colors of aqua and white. Dale Moline dropped out in April which reduced our number to six. 10
