These were happy days learning to work and play together. Selling candy at the fall carnival, being pilgrims for Thanksgiving and the story book people in the Christmas program added much joy to our years work. On February the fourteenth we entertained pre-school children at a Valentine party. It is hoped every year will be as happy and successful as this one has been and the future be as bright as the sunshine.

The sixth grade was largest with an even dozen. This year an intermediate class club was organized with Gary Carlson as president, Dick Meyer as treasurer, and Dotty Lou Scribner as secretary. Our room alone gave twenty dollar-: to the March of Dimes. We also have about sixty dollars to contribute to the purchase of a radio phonograph for the school.
