B. TEAM For the first year in a long time the grade school had a B. B. team. They played teams from other towns and trained and worked hard the entire year not giving up once. The Cheerleaders, Alberta, Connie and Donna, did an excellent job of cheering the boys on. SCHOOL BOARD The school board this year consists of the following: Chairman...................... R. J. Slowey Trustees..............R. Pirch, A. Anderson L. Trevithick, G. Atchison Clerk.........................H. Ma gnu son The hoard has authorized many activities this year, some of them are as follows: Sanded the floor at the gymnasium, a job that was badly needed. Authorized the construction of a new walk in front of the school. Purchased trees, lawn seed, and shrubs with which the students carried on a landscaping program on the school yard. Authorized improvements in the dormitory, and in the school building itself. These changes and the many others that the board has made are appreciated by the students very much. We only hope that we will deserve more of the same in the future. PARENT-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION Another organization which we believe will help to improve our schools is the P. T. A. The officers this year are as follows: Don Thomas Jr...................President Lee Knedler................Vice President Mrs. E. Goldhahn................Secretary Mrs. M. Scribner................Treasurer The Geraldine unit of this association was just formed this year so we have no accomplishments to list. However judging from what this association has done in other communities we may surely have high hopes for its success here.
