CLASS PROPHECY Dear Father Time: Alice Bechard who has been married and divorced seven times has at last found a man whom she really likes. She is writing a book “How to Stay Happy — Though Married.” She said, “It will be published soon.” She will send you a free copy. Jim Craig who is now getting old and feeble (minded) still has a little spunk left. As you probably know he was the richest man in the world until he bet all his money that Geraldine Basketball team would beat Pownal and lost. He still has hopes of getting into a home for the old and decrepit. Kenn Hicks who used to be called the “Brain” seemed to have lost it when traveling over the U. S. selling Super-Duper Blowing Bubble gum. He has been to many psychia- trists and they recommend he give up his job as selling bubble gum and lead a nice quiet, easy life with Jim Craig in the house for the old. Alice Tanner who used to laugh over “People Are Crazy” has changed her profes- sion and is now the world’s Champion “Tiddly Wink” player. This week she is going to Challenge her toughest opponent. The class is going to stay and boost her along so she can keep the title: “Miss Tiddly Wink.” (We forgot to mention she was married but her husband suddenly disappeared!) Max Makich has done well for himself, he is now Professor at Warm Springs, Mon- tana. He studied and worked hard for his B. S. Degree in Chemistry which he is now using in teaching the younger generation. In working in the laboratory he discovered a new bomb which will not only blow the whole universe to pieces but. Warm Springs, too. Junior Keid has made good for himself after leaving old G. H. S. He has set up a factory near Tunis, Montana where he makes the 1929 model of the Model A. He be- lieves that this make of a car is a lot better than any of the modern kind. On the average he sells 200 cars a year which brings him a fortune. (We think.) Sally Bronson, who after leaving Geraldine, entered college at Bozeman. Everyone had hopes for her to become someone great but after three weeks in school she got a telegram from Hollywood offering her a part in a picture. She lost her head and never has found it since. Rushing to Hollywood, she found out her part was shooting apples off of other peoples’heads with her water gun, in “Dead Eve From Dead End Street” She married soon after this, raising a family and working in the movies, shooting apples at the same time. She is now doing fine for herself with a family of ten. She is known by the name of Pistol Packin’ Mama with her ten little pistols. This reunion brought back many pleasant memories and some of them act as though they are going through their second childhood. Sincerely yours. I, Alice Tanner, will my giggle to Leonard Scribner. I, Junior Reid, will the keys to my green Ford to my little brother John. I, Max Makich, will my way with women to Chic Luhr. I, Kenn Hicks, will my nickname “Brain” to Roy Wishman. I, Sally Bronson, will my water gun to Lou, just to keep the name ringleader in the family.

SENIOR CLASS HISTORY School opened September 9, 1946 to find seventeen green Freshmen impatiently waiting for the doors of G. H. S. to open. We followed the examples set by our upper- classmen and soon learned the fundamentals of High School. Our first highlight was getting initiated by the dear old Sophomores. Being dumb, we couldn’t figure out what was going on until the Sophs started to give us a “paint” and “paddle” job. After being paraded around school and town all day, that night we per- formed for the whole High School at the auditorium. When they were done with us, every- one danced to the town orchestra and was served a lunch by no one but the dear Sophs themselves. October 23, 1946 we attempted to whitewash the “G”????? It looked better — but — we looked worse than when we started out. December 18, 1946 we gave our return party, this was also the Christmas party for the year. Those who took part in sports were Alice Tanner, Sally Bronson, Max Makich, and Jim Craig. Kenneth Hicks was manager of the basketball team. Officers for this year were as follows: President ................................Jim Craig Vice President ...............................Sally Bronson Secretary and Treasurer......................Marion Scribner Sponsor ........................ ....Miss Crawford On September 8, 1947 we found eleven Sophomores sitting in the assembly, waiting for school to begin. Our only thought was to get revenge on the Freshmen, this we did by torturing them all day with big paddles and large amounts of lipstick and shoe polish. That night we used the auditorium for our torture-chamber, the Freshies entertaining us by exhibiting their talents. When we got through with them, those that were able danced to the town orchestra. In October we gave a roller skating party for the whole High School, we tried to sell carameled apples????? Alice Tanner was chosen as a cheer leader from our class. Earlene Duvall, Jim Craig, Max Makich, Alice Tanner and Sally Bronson took part in sports this year.
