Only five veterans came back. With hard practice and smooth guidance coach Nelson soon had a team shaping up. Donna Nelson was chosen manager. The first game was played with I-lighwood and the Tigeresses were defeated. High point girl for the year was Sally Bronson with Delores Fairbanks coming second. There was a different captain for each game and Martha Bell was elected honorary captain for the year. All the girls pictured receive letters. There was a different captain for each game and Norris Owen was elected honorary captain for the year.
