Club was organized in 1938 and since that time it has become a tradition at the school. The 1947 Club, under Mrs. Mitzner's sponsorship, was activated on October 3 with the following officers and members. At the first football game the girls sold hotdogs and coke. On October 31, the city gave a Hallowe'en party at the gym for all the oungsters and teen agers in town and the Home Ec. girls prepared and served the Y . refreshments for this affair. The group also had a food booth at the school carnival on November 22, which contributed highly to the success of the carnival. Throughout the basketball season the Club prepared all food served to visiting teams.

D LIBRARY Our small but well stocked library holds many volumes of research study in nearly all fields, as well as numerous library books for general leisure-time reading. It is not hard to find any poem desired as we have many books of poetry. We have many current magazines and keep on file, the older numbers of Life. Time, News Week and Geographic magazines for reference materials. The above girls acted as librarians, each receiving one fourth of a credit for the year. They check books out and in, keep the library neat and orderly. and cheerfully assist the student in finding the material for which he is seeking.
