S. eligible for membership in a new club activated for the first time on September 22, 1947. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Jesper- son, we organized this club for the purpose of promoting and maintaining good sports- manship in all inter-scholastic activities. Any student who has earned a letter in competitive sports is eligible for membership in the G Club. On the basis of this eligibility the following students automatically became charter members of the G Club. The booths were operated by the various classes and clubs of the school. There were 12 booths in all providing a variety of entertainment. In spite of inclement weather, the attendance was exceptionally good and the carnival was a financial success. By popular vote, based on admission, Bill Bronson and Jean Thomas were crowned King and Queen of the carnival. We hope the G Club will expand its activities in future years and become a permanent factor in the betterment of our school.
