The primary im of the School of Architecture is to provide a broad and thorough preparation for future architects through the course designated Architectural Design. Architectural En- gineering is offered as a second option for those who may wish to engage in the practice of architecture or allied fields as specialists in construction. With the advent of industry in the South, a need has been seen for a course in Industrial Design to give adequate prepa- ration, with a technological background, for men entering this new profession.
