Cersl lnic Bni lding THE SCHOOL- Ceorgia is the center of an area which produces much of the country7s supply of ceramic raw materials. Aside from furnishing Well trained men, the department aids industry by research and testing. A degree of Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering is offered to those who desire to enter this field. THE PROFESSOR-Charles F. Wysong, B.S. Professor Wysong attended Belmont College and Georgia Tech Where he received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering in 1934. He was a member of the Beta Kappa Fraternity and is now a member of the American Ceramic Society and the Educational Council of the American Ceramic Society. Professor Wysongis practical experience was obtained in industrial plants in North Carolina and Washington, D. C. His teaching career began here at Tech in 1938, and he was made the acting head of the department in December, 1940.
