President Freshman Class THE STUDENT COUNCIL . . . . . . is the governing body on the Tech cam- pus, elected by the student body itself. The purpose of the Council is to represent the student body in all matters affecting student interest, to provide a medium of communica- tion between the students and school author- ities, and to preserve the customs and the traditions of the school. The Council also su- pervises the election of editors and business managers of the publications, promotes and supervises the annual election of class oliicers, and elects student representatives on all stu- dent-faculty committees.
