this volume the staff of the BLUE PRINT attempts to give an accurate picture of life on the campus of Georgia Tech. We hope, as the years pass, that this book Will be a source of ever recurring pleasure, as it recalls memories of student interests and activities during the year 1933-34 Architecture has been selected as our theme and is presented in the form of a brief history. Seven styles are shovvn in their chronological order, and each is illustrated by an expressive example of that style.

BLUE PRINT of 1934 is respectfully dedicated by the students of the Georgia School of Technology to the Chancellor of the State University System, Honorable Philip Weltner. His advice and counsel were sought by members of the State Legislature in preparation of the measure which later became law and which uni- fied the college Work of Georgia. Naturally he was named as one of the members of the original Board of Regents by Governor Richard Russell. Last year he Was elected Chancellor, succeeding Doctor Charles M.
