Homecoming 1974 This year's Homecoming got off to a great start. There was the Homecoming parade in downtown Americus, where all the organizations made really great floats. The GSC Band played in front of the Municipal Building, and the local high school bands marched. We regret that there are no pictures of the floats and parade due to camera failure of the Gale and Sou'wester staffs, and we hope this won't happen again, but that the parade tradition will continue. Other events of the festive weekend included the basketball game where Julie Rightmyer was crowned Queen during halftime, and the rest of the court was presented to reign over the dance. 188 1 i i 7777 ,,,, 77 ..... ..-7..... .........lwv-.1
