SENIORS: We are happy that you came to G. C. S. and hope that you will visit us often. I read a bit of wisdom that I would like for you to consider. Failure to hit the mark is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself. LOWER CLASSMAN: I'would like for you to consider this statement. Anyone who stops learning is old; anyone who keeps learning stays young. PREWITTE COPELAND Vice-President and Principal OWEN FREEMAN Dean of Students This my first year at G.C.S. has been a busy yet a happy one. We have had moments of joy and moments of disappointment. There have been times for tears of happiness and times for tears of sadness. May you help us build a bigger and better school for the future, and may you always make G.C.S. proud of you. 13
