WE DEDICATE THIS PAGE TO THE ARQUITTS AND RAYS On entering our school, most people see the obvious. They notice everything around them, but they see nothing 0 what is behind it all. To keep a school such as ours in good working order, an enormous amount of help is required. Most of this assistance is given to us by a few dedicated people who, in many cases, receive very little in return. The Arquitts came to us on August 31st and the Rays on September 15th, Our lives and opinions have been tremendously influenced by these stalwart families. Our problems have been their prob- lems, our hopes and ambitions, theirs; we are so very grateful to them for coming our way. To show our gratitude for the many times they have helped us over the waves, have inspired, and led us, we, the PINE EMBERS STAFF of 1966, dedicate this page to our president and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Arquitt, Jr., and our executive assistant to the president and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Allen J. Ray. May you always be able to carry on in the same way you have this, your first year, and we hope for the very best of everything for both you and the school in future years. 16
