Our annual has at last been completed, and we are very proud of our efforts. The an- nual staff has worked hard and long on it, but we have learned much and have enjoyed the work. Even if we became discouraged at times, we have tried to make the annual a success. We, the annual staff, hope that all of you enjoy reading it and that it may serve in years to come as a happy reminder of the 1963-64 school year. As you browse through the book in later years, we hope that it will make you smile and recall “the good old days at GCS.” Many people have contributed to the production of this annual, and we, the editors, would like to first recognize the helpfulness of the annual staff. They have worked well to- gether. We would like to thank Bro. Hudelston, our advisor, for all the assistance he has given us. We certainly could not have done the work without him. Next, we would like to thank the many businesses and individuals who bought ads. It is to these people, whose monetary contributions have made this annual possible, that we perhaps owe our greatest debt of gratitude. We are also grateful to Bro. Wakefield and the faculty who gave us a boost and time out of classes to work on the annual. We appreciate the opportunity that we have had in serving the school as editor of the 1963-64 PINE EMBERS, and we will always remember it as an honor and a privilege to have been selected for this job.
