Nine years ago hc came to this country and was engaged as editor and trans- lator for a promin nt Polish newspaper Hc cntcrcfl the U. S. Army and served on the Mexican border. Mr, ,lawney is very proficient in Polish. Russian, German and several other European languages and expects to be engaged in commercial work in Eastern Europe.
