A typical Native Son, he has always been an ardent booster of California, and his demonstration of how bucking bronchos are handled in the far west will never be forgotten. In the study of the law as in all other undertakings he has applied himself with keen intellect and arduous determina- tion. Those of us who know him intimately will long cherish the warmth and sincerity of his friendship, and feel assured that some day Tom will join the ranks of the legal luminaries of the Golden VVest.
