It was Adkins who gave the first definitions of Contracts, Torts, Equity, etc., by reason of the fact that he had the place of honor in the alphabet. A quiet well-meaning chap, yet a first- class mixer, a real student who delved into the in- tricacies of the law with delight. We are loathe to lose his friendly presence, yet as he conquered his studies, so must he go forth to make his mark in the held of legal enterprise. And we predict his success in terms unmeasured.
