PHYLLIS ANN PARKHU RST Phy1 Phyl is known for her long naturally curly hair. Her ability to get along with everyone will help her in the future. Phyl took part in the Senior play and assisted in the lunior play. Most of Phyl's time is spent in Lewes. She is active in Golden Herald and Senior Chorus. Her hopes of the future lie in the beautician field. IAMES PEPPER iilimmyf, limmy has been an active member of the foot- ball, basketball, and track teams. Iirnmy is a lot of fun to have around. His ability to make friends at a glance is a great advantage to his success. Iimmy is a member of the FFA., Athletic Council, Photography Club, Barber Shop Quartet, and he is aiming for the me- chanical field. DALE RODNEY PEPPER Bud Bud was President of the class three out of four years. ln his Senior year he was elected co-captain of the football team. He has been an outstanding athlete in football, basketball, track, and baseball all through school. Bud's warm personality has made him a friend to all. KORETTA ADELIA PRETTYMAN ukiniel, Ianie is one of the Harbeson roller skating fiends. She is a busy little gal who took part in both the Iunior and Senior plays, Golden Herald and Chorus, and is this year on the hockey and softball teams. Ianie is sure that you know because that is the' expression she so frequently uses. Her ambition is to become a physical education teacher.

NORMA LEE ALICE MITCHELL Norma Lee has the privilege of being the tallest girl in the class. She took parts in both our Iunior and Senior plays. She, being co- captain, is an outstanding athlete in hockey. She has also done her job well as manager of basketball. She is a member of the Senior Chorus and of the Senior Dramatics Club. Norma Lee expects to be spending some time at the Georgetown telephone office after graduation. , ANNA ELIZABETH MOORE iii i Anna is the jolly member of the class. She had a major role in both the Iunior and Senior plays. She has been class treasurer for three years and has taken an active part in the Dramatic Club and Chorus. Anna is also Student Council secretary, After graduation she will continue her work at Bryan and Rollins SHIRLEY IOAN Monais Shirley is the pretty and gayhearted girl of the Senior class. We were lucky to gain her in our lunior year. She took a leading part in the lunior play and played Rhonda in the Senior play. Shirley has also taken part in the Chorus and has been on the Golden Herald staff. She will be continuing her work at the Sussex Countian after graduation and will get married. ELLERY LEO PARKER . . E 1, , El's the happy-go-lucky fellow of the class. I-le is an ambitious member and took impor- tant parts in both the Iunior and Senior plays. El has been excellent in both football and baseball. He was a member of the Barber Shop Quartet, and a representative in the Student Council. After graduation he will join the Navy.

MARGARET CARLYN PRETTYMAN Peggy Peggy is the lively gal from Harbeson, that gets around a lot. She has a habit of saying, You know it. Peggy was a member of the Senior Chorus for three years. She was usher in both the Iunior and Senior plays. After graduation she wants to work in Seaford. HAROLD ROGERS . - Meet Harold, the brawn in back of the Senior class. Harold took part in the Iunior play and helped with the Senior play. He is President ot the Athletic Council, a member of F.F.A., Barber Shop Quartet, Stage Crew and the Golden Herald Staff. He took part in football and track. Harold will continue his work at the Sussex Countian after graduation. CATHERINE MABLE REYNOLDS HKMY., Kitty's ability to get work done accurately and quickly has been of great value to our class. She has made an outstanding record in athletics and is quite popular around G.l-l.S. She served on the cheering squad for six years and was a member of the chorus, and Photography Club. Kitty did an excellent job as business manager of both the Iunior and Senior plays and of the yearbook. She will continue her education after graduation. SARAH CATHERINE SCOTT If we hear someone giggling we can be sure it's Sarah. She has been a member of the Chorus and Dramatics Club for four years. Sarah took a leading part in the Iunior play. She hails from Stockley, and has interests in Lewes. Her chief ambition is to be a nurse.
