PAULINE L. KEELER Polly Polly has been a member of the Drum Major- ettes during her four years of high school. She was in charge of the ads for the play during the last two years. She took part in the Iunior play and also had the part of Elsie in the Senior play. Her participation in hockey and basketball keeps her busy be- sides being a representative of Student Coun- cil and a member of the Senior Chorus and Sussex County Chorus. MILDRED IEAN MACKLIN nlecnn lean has been a member of Chorus for two years and a guard on the basketball team for three years. She is also on the Golden Herald staff. Iean can often be heard saying, My goodness, and her hobby is listening to Ianet's jokes in home-ec class. For some strange reason, she seems to be very fond of red hair! Iean's pleasant personality will make many people happy when she becomes a nurse. NORMA MARIE KING Kingy Kingy is one of the peppiest girls in the Senior class. Her flashing smile and gay laugh catch the attention of everyone. She represented our class in Student Council during her four years in high school. She also was in the Photography Club and Senior Chorus and did a fine job as prompter in the Senior play You probably have heard her say, May I help you? several times at the lim-bo Curb Service. EARL PHILLIP MITCHELL Earl is a quiet guy with an indescribable laugh. He has been active in football, basket- ball and track during his high school years. Earl is president of the Athletic Board of Con- trol, co-captain of the basketball team, mem- ber of the Golden Herald staff, and he worked on the scenery for both Iunior and Senior plays. He was active in the F.F.A., Barber Shop Quartet, and Athletic Council. Earl hopes to .become a mechanic. We know he will succeed.

AUBREY TRUMAN HUDSON Aubrey has done a fine job as president of the Student Council, and has been one of our most outstanding athletes. He partici- pated in basketball, baseball, track, and was co-captain of the football team. Aubrey had the leading male part in our Senior play. He is successful in everything he does. After graduation he will continue his education. IOSEPHYNE HUNTER I IIOI I Io is one of the most ambitious girls in the class. She did a fine job of playing Mrs. Skinner in the Iunior play. Io was a member of the Senior Chorus, Golden Herald, and she served as a cheerleader for three years. Her big heart and great ambition will surely help her in being a successful beautician. ll-XNET HUDSON Ianet has a disposition that can take any kind of teasing. She was a member ot the Golden Herald for two years. During her Senior year Ianet was the co-society editor and business manager. She. was on the publicity and ad- vertisement committees and also an usher for both the Iunior and Senior plays. Ianet is planning to become a beautician after graduation. PEARL WINIFRED I ONES ' ' Winnie Winnie is the pep of the class. She lives in Ellendale and is sure to let you know it. She is on the feature staff of the Golden Herald, a Student Council representative, and a member of Girls' Shop. She was a member of both the Iunior and Senior plays. Her ambi- tion is to be rich. We wish her Well! She always says Search me! When she gets rich We Will.

NORMA LEE ALICE MITCHELL Norma Lee has the privilege of being the tallest girl in the class. She took parts in both our Iunior and Senior plays. She, being co- captain, is an outstanding athlete in hockey. She has also done her job well as manager of basketball. She is a member of the Senior Chorus and of the Senior Dramatics Club. Norma Lee expects to be spending some time at the Georgetown telephone office after graduation. , ANNA ELIZABETH MOORE iii i Anna is the jolly member of the class. She had a major role in both the Iunior and Senior plays. She has been class treasurer for three years and has taken an active part in the Dramatic Club and Chorus. Anna is also Student Council secretary, After graduation she will continue her work at Bryan and Rollins SHIRLEY IOAN Monais Shirley is the pretty and gayhearted girl of the Senior class. We were lucky to gain her in our lunior year. She took a leading part in the lunior play and played Rhonda in the Senior play. Shirley has also taken part in the Chorus and has been on the Golden Herald staff. She will be continuing her work at the Sussex Countian after graduation and will get married. ELLERY LEO PARKER . . E 1, , El's the happy-go-lucky fellow of the class. I-le is an ambitious member and took impor- tant parts in both the Iunior and Senior plays. El has been excellent in both football and baseball. He was a member of the Barber Shop Quartet, and a representative in the Student Council. After graduation he will join the Navy.
