DEDICA TION The 1965 Georgian is dedicated to a man who has been with us since we entered high school. He is not only a teacher but a friend. When we needed encouragement, he was always there to give us the necessary boost. If we had a personal problem, his advice was always available. You could often find him staying after school to talk with the students. In our freshman year he organized us as a class. He conceived the idea of our minstrel show, brought it through many trying rehearsals, to the performances, where it was a success. He helped organize and make our Junior Prom successful. He molded the talent that we had into an ef- ficient and effective baseball team. Last year, Georgetown High School won the Cape Ann League Championship for the first time in many years, due to the tireless efforts of this man. A more dedicated teacher could not be de- sired by any school. In each and every student he shows a sincere interest. He makes his courses interesting and instills in his pupils a desire to learn. This year he will receive his Masters Degree in Education, which further shows his dedication to teaching. Therefore, in appreciation of his friendship and devotion to his students, we, the class of 1965, dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Leonard Woodman.
