ball. Baseball. Golf. NHS. and G-Club. I'm going to miss all my friends here at G.H.S. and all the athletics I participated in during my high school years. Favorite T.V. show—Dynasty Favorite song or band -Hurts so Good Favorite movie—Rocky III Steve Cornwell I enjoy playing and watching sports, cruising, and being with Paula. I'll never forget beating Westville in the Coal Bucket game 60-6 and also the Junior class party with Paula. I plan to attend Illinois State University and major in Accounting and also pass the C.P.A. exam. I participated in Football receiving All County as Tight End and Punter my Senior year. Basketball. Baseball, and Golf. I am going to miss participating in sports and all my friends at G.H.S. I am going to also miss causing trouble in Auto Mechanics class and Les. Favorite T.V. show—M A S H Favorite song or band—Hurts So Good and Cocaine Favorite movie—Rocky III Kerressa Dee Crawford Kris” My past four years at good ole G.H.S. have been great! I would like to thank Amy, Laurie. Rae Ann. Lisa S.. Paula. Phyllis, and Angie for making it that way. The things I’ll remember most during my adolescent years are the class get togethers”. the time Lisa Snack said take this exit Amy”, when Tammy Cagle and I made fun of certain people at the bowling alley (surfing U.S.A.). and the crazy things Rae and I used to do while sitting on the bench. It was also great just hanging around in town with my friends. My future plans are to move to Texas and eventually go to college. My favorite saying is Hey Amy. how we getting home tonight?” I was involved in Basketball. Track. Yearbook. Newspaper. Pom-Pon. NHS. Student Senate. Pep Club. Leo Club. Square Dancing. Bowling, and Mr. Steffey’s Fan Club. The thing I’m going to miss the most is watching Mr. Steffey’s swing in his back yard.” Favorite T.V. show—Fame Favorite song or band—Open Arms Favorite movie—First Blood and Arthur Eric Cunningham I enjoy hunting, fishing, trapping, and having a good time with my friends. I’ll never forget playing life guard at my party. In the future I plan to enlist in the Navy. My philosophy is In Heaven there Is no beer so we’d better drink it here.” I was in a cast most of the time. Favorite T.V. show—M A S H Favorite song or band—Wild Eyed Southern Boys Favorite movie—Porkys Tamera Lynn Dandridge Duck My ambition is to go to school and major in Business Administration. My past four years at G.H.S. have been fun. I’m really going to miss it. Favorite T.V. show—NONE Favorite song or band—Truly Favorite movie—NONE Kim Golcynski I enjoy being with my friends and talking on the phone for hours with a certain person and especially cruising around the big town. I’ll always remember the times at the Marching Band contests trying to keep warm and meeting that special person in my life Jim”. My future goals are to attend DACC and become a Secretary. My favorite saying is dig yah” I was involved in Pep Club, and the Rifle squad in Marching Band. I’d like to thank Mrs. Arnold for helping me to understand shorthand and enjoying it alot more. I am going to miss all the good old times at G.H.S. and especially the rifle captains. Favorite T.V. show—Fame Favorite song or band—Stone in Love Favorite movie—Ice Castles Shelly Grubb Shelly Sue” I like taking and developing pictures, being with my family and friends, especially Troy. Debbie, and Sandy. I’ll never forget 5A lunch my Sophomore and Junior years. In the future I plan to go to Danville Beauty School. DACC. and Illinois State University majoring in Elementary Education and get married to Troy Legros. My philosophy is If you can't say something nice about someone. don’t say anything at all.” While I was in high school I participated in FFA. Student Senate. Girls Basketball Stat. NHS. and Yearbook. I am going to miss all of my friends and working on the yearbook. Favorite T.V. show—M A S‘H Favorite song or band—Cats in the Cradle Favorite movie—NONE Scott Hardesty My interests are girls, money, and girls. My most remembered moment is May 22. 1979. I plan to become very rich and very happy. My favorite saying is go for it or what’s happening”. I was involved in kidnapping Paula Edwards from school. I am going to miss all of my friends when I'm in the Navy. Favorite T.V. show—Magnum P.l. Favorite song or band—anything by Lionel Richie or Commodores Favorite movie—Heaven Can Wait. Denise Harper Through the four years of high school. I was involved in Band. Pom-Pon. G-Club. and Pep Club. I will always remember my Junior and Senior years the most because I spent them with Marty. I will never forget passing up the chance to go to Hawaii because I didn’t want to miss school then I ended up getting suspended for 3 days. I enjoy running around with Chris, swimming, skating, softball, tennis, and most of all being with Marty. My future plans are to either go to Beauty School or DACC then find a job. live life one day at a time and then marry Marty. I would like to thank Mr. Johnson for making first hour study hall a blast and I would also like to thank Marty for being such a terrific guy. My favorite saying is Oh well . Favorite T.V. show—M’A S H Favorite song or band—Stairway to Heaven and anything by Bob Seger Favorite movie—An Officer and a Gentleman and Caddyshack Dwayne Hatton I enjoy cruising down by D.F.’s. house and laying on the horn as I go past. I will never forget when I went to Kansas City with the FFA and we got kicked out of our hotel because of me. In the future I plan to enlist in the Air Force and major in Technical Engineering. My favorite saying is Man. you’re full of- . I was in- volved in Football. Basketball. Baseball, and FFA. I’d like to thank Mr. Avery for getting writer’s cramp just to write me tardie slips. Favorite T.V. show—Bozo’s Big Top Circus Favorite song or band—39 Special and REO Favorite movie—Porky's Jeff Haussy Haus or Crip My hobbies are girls, sports, and cars. I will always remember Steve Angle after he fell on my knee at the soap game and put me out for the rest of the season. I plan to attend Greenville College and major in ?? My favorite saying is I'm sorry . I was involved in Football. Baseball. Basketball. Band, and Jazz Band. Favorite T.V. show—Hill Street Blues Favorite song or band—Truly Favorite movie—First Blood Paula Heiser Beast In my last four years of high school my Senior year has been the best. I enjoy being with my very best friends Angie. Lisa, and Phyllis also being with Steve. I will never forget the Elephant Man at Arby’s. Lisa’s cookouts”. our Junior class party (with Steve), bike wrecks with P.J.. and especially Carl and the Chicago band trip, what we can remember of it (right Amy Jean). In the future I plan to listen to more of Steve’s bad jokes, travel to the city of Danville and attend Lakeview School of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. My philosophy is If you're in love with the History teacher, jump him! I was involved in Band. Cheerleading. Class Secretary, FHA. Homecoming Co-Queen, Newspaper. Pep Club. Polar Club. Pom-Pon. Science Club. Student Senate. Track. Volleyball. G-Club. and Vice President of Mr. Steffey’s Fan Club. I would like to thank all of the teachers, especially Mr. Johnson and Mr. Kercheval. for making my last year at G.H.S. great! I am really going to miss all the good times with the Senior class and especially Steve, Angie, Lisa. Phyllis. Amy. Tracy. Beth, and Mr. Johnson.
