KATHLEEN SUE SMITH • FIREPLUG” OR “RED” I like cheering at basketball games where the crowd is tense and the next point will either make or take the game. I’ll always remember all the special underclassmen who helped me through my low times. Thanks BH, SS, SI. RJ! My future plans are to go to college and major in Agriculture. My favorite saying is You had to be there.” I was involved in Marching Band. Flag Corp, Secretary of Student Senate. Yearbook. LEO Club. Volleyball. Girls Basketball. FFA President, NHS, Cheerleading. G-Club. Pep Club. Vice President of my Junior class. And I attended Girls State. I’d like to thank Sue Snider for being my best friend and always being there when I needed her. I’m going to miss all the great times I had at ole GHS with my friends, and I'll especially miss marching in the Drill Box at Band Camp! (Just kidding Mr. Kercheval! ) My all time favorite movie is Kramer vs Kramer My favorite song is “Just When I Thought I Was Over You PHILIP PAUL SMITH “PHIL My hobbies are archery, swimming, horseback riding and hunting. I’ll always remember the Pep Assemblies and Football games. My future plans are to visit Canada, then when I get back take my EMT then become a Paramedic. My philosophy is Get the job right the first time.” I was a Medical Explorer at LV hospital and was in the AV and Library Club. I’d like to thank all the teachers who had me. my parents, and the class of 82”. wrestling, football and the fun of high school. My all time favorite movie is Every Which Way but Loose My favorite song is Renagade” by Styx GERALD WAYNE STAUB STUBBY” I like riding around town and having fun during the summer. I'll never forget riding around at lunch and getting stopped for something I didn’t do. My plans for the future are to go to DACC and get training in Auto and Diesel Mechanics. My favorite saying is This is Bull. I'd like to thank the Counselor and the teachers for helping me make it through high school. My all time favorite movie is Smokey and the Bandit My favorite song is The Stroke JERI STEPHENSON I enjoy partying with my friends, being with my special someone, and listening to the stero full blast! My most remembered moment was being nominated Homecoming Queen. Thanks everyone! My future goal is to go to DACC for business courses and become a Secretary. My favorite saying is I’m gonna barbecue your A ! I was involved in Cheerleading, Pom Pon. Drama Club. Basketball, FHA and G-Club. I am going to miss all of the good times I've had in school with everyone. and I am going to miss bugging Bridget and Nathan in Sewing Class! Bye everyone! My all time favorite movie is Cheech Chong Up in Smoke My favorite song is “157 Riverside Avenue SUE ELLEN SNIDER SNUE STEVE STEVENS I will never forget the Marching Band .season, when we won 1st place at of I. In the future lajor in Deaf ition. I was Softball, hing and ok. 3.4, .2.3.4. G-and Vice to miss jespecial-friend. I enjoy playing golf and explaining to people how I wrecked my car. I plan to attend SIU and major in Environmental Engineering. My favorite saying is OK Bucko. I was involved in Golf. NHS. and LEO Club. I would like to thank my parents for their guidance and Mr. Wilson for completely understanding why I had to miss his classes. My all time favorite movie is My Name is Nobody My favorite song is “Sweet Home Alabama PENNY THOMPSON ALBABY” I enjoy going out for pizza with the piglets. Karla and the gang until 5:30 A.M. and then going to Marching Band Contest with a pack of TUMS and some Visine to get the red out.” I also enjoy cruising with my teddy Bear” and my 3D’s. I will never (although I’ll try) forget Mr. Wilson's 5th hour Physics class. In the future I plan to go to college for Zoology, eat pizza legally live my life full of excitement. My favorite saying is Could be for a good time! I was in FFA. Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Jazz Band. French Club. LEO Club NHS. I am not going to miss the prison like qualities of the school, but I will miss a few of my “wise beyond their years. teachers. I’d also like to thank my friends my pup for making my years at GHS more memorable fun. My all time fovorite movie is Singing In the Rain My favorite song is Anything by Bob Seeger ERIC VANDIVER TEX I enjoy riding horses, fishing. hunting. I mostly like to be alone. When I get angry at something or someone I will go out in the woods. I will always remember when we moved to Illinois from Idaho. I did not like it because I had to leave my friends, but now I can’t wait to get back. My future plans are to go to work for my Uncle in Idaho and learn his trade, printing. I will miss a lot of friends and some teachers. 19
