Mr. DeLand has been Principal of the high school for seven years and because of his untiring interest in everything pertaining to school and the students many changes have taken place. The hour class period was introduced a few years ago and has proved very successful. Home Economics and Manual Training Courses were added to the curriculum three years ago, after having been eliminated because of economic reasons. The bus system which was introduced five years ago has proved especially beneficial to the students.
