At the right, Howard Bleeke recites his speech for the FFA Area Meeting in Round Rock . ff, ff' .H A I I O I Landa Park has been enjoyed many years by students from many different schools, including Georgetown. This year the Freshman class, of which Larry Leggett and Don Williams are members, partici- pated in the activities of this park. The Junior Degree is received by many different members of the FHA.

On Friday night Angela Engelbrecht, Butch Johnson, Donna Hausenfluck, Harriet Berglund, and Gloria Jacob helped to make up the cast. At right, the girls prepare to attack Butch as he enters to sell magazine subscriptions to the group. W -fs? ly Kay Hubbard and Albert Munson give Norman Boufford the once over as Margie Cagle and Agusta Valentine stand waiting with their weapons in hand. This group took part in the Thursday night performance of the Junior-Sponsored play, in which members of the four top grades took part. If , ff On May 20th and 21st Soc'n' Buskin presented Jumping Jupiter sponsored by the Junior class. The production was double cast, and best actresses and actors were chosen for both nights. At the left is pictured the winners of these honors Angela Engelbrecht, Wilma Durham, Peggy Phillips, Albert Munson, Donna Hausenfluck, Gloria Jacob, and Norman Bouf- ford. Soc'n' Buskin members and members of the speech class built the scenery for the production of Jumping Jupiter, which dealt with the lives of three young girls trying to crash Broadway with only Sl. 96 and two months rent due. Living in the sameapartment house is an up-and-coming playwright who has prom- ised the girls parts in his new musical comedy, if it ls ever produced. The conflict comes when the girls find they have 550, 000, which is to be paid to the kidnappers of a tobacco king's daughter. The climax comes when the kidnapped girl is dumped in the girls' lap. After much conflict the girl is returned to her father and the girls receive a 825, 000 reward. ,1ti..i, SXH 7

R , t t at S andn-aan? John Pettijohn gives the welcome to the Juniors, Seniors, and Faculty Sponsors at the Junior-Senior Banquet held on May 20 in the High School Gymnasium. The theme of the banquet was In Colonial Days with the setting on the lawn of a colonial mansion. At one end of the gym, a colonial house was erected with a brick wall and a,water fountain completing the scenery. Trelises lined the three walls with willow trees overlooking the garden. Guests were served mint julep in the gar- den, before dinner, by members of the P. A. S. F.
