ANNUALS ARRIVE The very first day of school, September 3, the long awaited '53 annuals were received. Above, Mr. Williams signs June Burkhart's Aerie during the time out for autographs. HERO WELCOMED HOME School joined the town September 15. in rejoicing over the return of Rich- ard Lundquist. Home after two years as a prisoner in Korea, Richard is shown here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lundquist. Richard graduated in 1946. SENIOR BOYS TA KE TIME OUT AT FIESTA September 16 saw the opening of the Senior social season. A fiesta held at the Country Club was the first of a group of Senior parties planned for the year. Walter Childress and La- Nell Hancock took first places in the best dressed contest.
