7!ze Medea of E Georgetown College boasts a tradition comparable to any institution west of the Alleghenies. Since its establishment in the days when the idea of such an educational institution was new, it has pioneered, progressed, and obtained recognition from educational authorities throughout the country. A school rich in friendliness and tradition, and a campus studded with beautiful old buildings of outstanding architecture make Georgetown an ideal place for the education of young Ameri- cans. Georgetown will continue to live and grow because its chief aim and function is the inculcation of Christian ideals, and the development of Christian character, along with the closest attention to intellec- tual attainments.

'Me STRENGTH OF FRIENDSHIP The spirits of friendship and hospitality are two assets of which Georgetown has an abundance. It is located in the heart of the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, where the Southern ideals of these two spirits are deeply im- bedded in the heart of each stu- dent. Here we find, as in few other schools, that one's friends are the whole student body, and not a small select group. After a ball game the Sweet Shop is packed and jammed with students talking over the game, or anything that may be of particular interest to them. To walk through a group of these students and be greeted by a Hi, Joe, Sit down, Bill, or anyone of similar little greetings, which in its small way conveys a deeper meaning than just the word, friendship, shows how the students feel toward one an- other. Friendship is the Hrst and greatest lesson in our collegeg and yet more important, it is the les- son practiced most thoroughly. TOP: O. K., H's a date.
