The Mixed Chorus 65014113 The Senior Chorus, Girls' Ensemble, and the Boys' Chorus all work for a good per- formance. There are three big events in the year, and each involves many hours of work combined with a little fun for all. For the chorus, the bright lights of the stage, and the curtain opening mean that something special is about to happen. We all work toward the opening night and the congratulations we hope to receive after our performance is complete. We hope to sing some old favorites and to introduce new songs to our au- diences. We shake in our shoes before the curtain opens for the Thanksgiving assembly, hoping our first big event will be successful. Our Christmas program for the P.T.A. is one of our most exciting, because Mamas and Papas are present for our first really public concert. The Spring concert brings party dresses in gay colors and stiff white shirts, dark suits, and ties. This is the event of the year. We close our program with a small group singing for the promotion exercises for the ninth graders. With this we end the year full of work, fun, and, in general, enjoyment for all. 48
