CLASS HISTORY Qcont dl were Rose Mary Dolan Otto Goebel David Maguglin and Hazel York After school was out in May Ray Mapes was drowned 1n Corpus Chr1st1 We lost Maurme Dollar and Otto Goebel during the school term We had lots of fun dur1ng our Junior year ordering our rings and giving the Seniors a banquet Our sponsors were Mr Ralph Meador and Mr W W Odom We lost Charles Drake and gained Jo Ann Arnold Floydlne Chenault G J Rodgers and Haven Yarbrough During the year we learned of the death of Maurxne Dollar Near the end of school Hazel York dropped out and Rosa Benitez and David Maguglin hav1ng enough credits to be Seniors graduated Now the day has finally come We are Seniors gettmg to the end of our journey Gladys Duncan and Floydme Chenault didn t come back and Jo Ann Reinhard moved to Kerrville at mid term During the year Edward Clubb found he needed one half credit to graduate We were very glad to have Mr Meador and Mr Odom as our sponsors again This year several of our class mates were chosen to run for Miss Live Oak County and we were very proud of Mary Rogstad as the Football and Ag Sweetheart Also Joyce Williams was our Drum Major and Jo Ann Arnold was one of the pep squad leaders At the beginning of school we got those long waited for rings and at mid term we ordered our invitations Our class flower is the gardema and our cloors are aqua and peach Our motto 1S Not finished just begun We have a graduating class of twenty eight Jean Arnett Jo Ann Arnold Margaret Brown Anxta Cantu Ruth Clements Estelle Essary Elda Garza Miller Rosa Sue Miller Mary Rogstad Margie Beth Stewart Joyce Williams Caroline Ybanez Estel Caron Edward G1nn John Ginn Daniel Hadamek Jimmy Hudgeons Bobby Jones Everest Pawlik G J Rodgers Irvan Shaw Richard Stannard and Haven Yarbrough C LASS WILL.
