IA FOOTBALL BANQUET December Z1 marked a red-letter date for the football boys of G.W.H.S. when the Lions and Rotary Clubs presented them with one of the most delightful banquets ever given in George West. Everyone assembled in the shed at the school lunch room and the 'call to dinner' was given by Mr. Gay. The procession to the dining room was led by the football captainsand their dates. Mr. McBride, Rotarian, acted as master of ceremonies. After the invo- cation was given by Father Ordner, the large group sat down to the following menu: Baked Ham, Candied Yams, String Beans, Pineapple Salad, Glazed Beets, Rolls Apple Pie and Coffee.
