Under the supervision of Mr. Flynn and editor Shirley Davis, six issues were published during the Fall. New emphasis was placed on features and editorials and sales rose to an all time high. Row 1 (r-1) Ramm, Williams, Smaczniak, Heller, Beck, Lias, Erbsenhaut. Row 2. Schwartz man, Buckley, Finigan, Mullins, Cherney, Luce, Goodhill, Clark, Johnson, Sobieski. Sid Goldstein Sports Editor Alice Alger Assistant Feature Larry Cerf Assistant Sports The spring Engle staff had quite a unique feature: there was a double staff. Editors Shirley Davis and Janet Beck took turns publishing the paper, each with her own staff. This is the first time that such a thing has occurred in the history of the Eagle. The capable staffs put out seven issues including a giant Senior Special in June. Seated: Barbara Cronin, Shirley Davis.
