Scenes of the Yankees in the major battles of 1917-1914 both on land and sea anc in the air were shown. The armory itself is an up-to-date combination arsenal-ran3,e-and classroom. Maps a sand table rifle cleaning table and a supply room are additional features of this XX'est Point of Wi1shington. One of the best equipped of all San Francisco schools, R.O.T.C. cadets are truly proud of their b.1rracks. Every term sees stiff competition between the four companies and their captains for the coveted Marshall Trophy, awarded at the end of the sem- ester to the most efficient company. One other example of the service rendered the school by the cadets has been the ushering at each Commencement. This year they were also ushers at both the afternoon and evening., performances of 'Span of Gold. Along the social line were the various military dances. The annual R.O.T.C. Military Ball date was set for May gl with the formalities and fun taking., place in the Boys' Gymnasium. Dancing was done to Bill Devou's and his swingsters' music. Of course all the theme of the day was militaryf At press time, plans were nearly complete for the semi-annual Saber Club dance to be held at the Hotel Mark Hopkins on june 5, Captain Henry Lapkin, chairman of the social committee an- nounced.
