as Well as Honors Abroad F .Trice i Outstanding Frenchman Senior Joe Trice spent his sum- mer in France as part of the Honors Abroad Program sponsored by Indi- ana University. This was the 13th year of the program and Washing- ton High School has had a winner every year except one. After a New York to Paris flight, the 30 students took a bus to St. Breiuc, France. Each student lived with a French family for five weeks and became like a member of the family. My family really treated me well and made me feel at home. The only catch to the program was a No English rule. It was only a problem in the beginning, Joe commented, and after a while I didn't even think about it. The last four weeks were spent living in dormatories and attending classes at the school each morning with emphasis on speaking constant French. The group took trips and excursions and spent the last four days in Paris before heading home. KTTH we M li i,3ly'ai! 2 T !'Wli '2 1 W 51 , W 7
